This plywood stool explores the limits of plywood by pitting it against its self. When sat on, each piece of plywood uses the other to push against. As the stool is symmetrical it doesn't matter which way up it stands and the handles on either side allow for easy manuverability. The use of a block colour on the solid wood parts was to contrast the grain of the birch plywood.
Note from Beau "As this was a first year University project, and I have learnt much since then I plan to revisit it at some point and improve upon the design, developing it using a level of understanding I didn't have at the time."
Shown at the Concept Room Exhibition in Birmingham 2015.
